HEARING GOLD’S HIGHLIGHTS OF 2011: TRACKS
When we started this blog late last year around this time, we weren’t able to follow and experience the abundance of releases that would emerge in those previous 12 months. This year, we’ve been able to follow the progression of musicianship, taking in the vast amount of music being produced and share them through the humble platform of our blog. Sitting at the end of the year, it seems as though the months (and the tracks) have flown by and the new year is ready to take over, but never lost are some of the tracks from this past year that have stuck with us. Reaching into a variety of tracks, here is an alphabetical list, and by no means is it exhaustive, of 20 notable tracks of 2011 that have either moved our feet, touched our hearts, or blown our minds here at Hearing Gold. As a note, our forthcoming lists highlighting our favorite EPs and LPs of 2011 contain numerous other notable tracks that have been excluded from this list, but will be found there instead.
